Is it possible to mod the water sprayer to inject water into the intake manifold and would it be possible to hook it to a dual map ECU to, say, increase mileage and boost pressure. (because lower boost, lower fuel, lower detonation =highway mileage) Right???

Running a water or alky kit is intended to help under full or higher boost situations. Not during regular driving situations. You will not use water or alky injection while driving normally so it's not going to give you better gas mileage. Do a little research on the injection kits and learn what the purpose of them is for.

 

You want better gas mileage? stay off of boost. My mileage sucks and its getting irritating with 2.50 per gallon premium only getting 21mpg on the highway. Mitsu needs to slap a super deep 6th gear into the tranny.

I get about 25-27 miles to the gallon Just stay outtas boost and you should be fine...I know Ted B gets about 38 miles to the gallon or somthing like that with his 280s and tunning, amazing.

 

I probably couldnt get 28 miles to the gallon if i put my car in neutral, let the engine idle then let the car behind me push my *** down the beltway. My "highway" mileage is beltway mileage which means its stop/go/stop/go/stop/stop/stop/stop......stop/stop. Seriously though, the car needs a deep overdrive to help the highway mileage, not that i could really use it i guess.
