I'd wait a month or so after the release of the Evo IX in the fall, or id shop around trying to sell a 500-750 over invoice deal (for the EVO 9) and if your positive and they arent initally biting on the deal allow them to write it up in the deal that the deposit is nonrefundable if you're absolutely positive you can and will buy the car as it shows the sales manager you're serious. You may get someone to bite on that deal before the cars land as holdback, or what the dealership is paid to store the car is additional 5% over if im not mistaken which would be cash in the pocket of the dealership on a car delivered immediately off the truck. Plus, dealerships get factory bonuses for volume.

Check around. Alot of times if you go through the internet sales dept. you get better deals. Ask the service manager what thier policy is on modding. That's what I did and was told as long as it's bolt ons and I did'nt break it racing they will cover it. I also got a deal through the internet sales manager - a "roll-back" with 200 mi. for 32K!

I would guess after Christmas since everyone would most likely be low on cash and the dealers know that. Also Play hard to get when going to the dealership. Always bring friends to help you pull out when the dealers become pushy.
