a full TBE exhaust consists of.....

kinda confused about the evo tbe....most downpipes on cars eliminates the cats well i just read that a downpipe for the evo doesnt eliminate the cat....so for example...in my case i really like the hks exhuasts...either hi power or cfTI.....will i have to get that then also (for example) a helix test pipe and ALSO a helix downpipe?i just wanna make sure i have a full straight through exhaust with no fitting problems and what not...and also while im doing the exhaust i would like to do everything exhaust wise only once and not have to mess with it again....is there anything else i should do? o2 housing, etc.? thanks alot!

TBE consists of a Downpipe, some type of cat replacement -- be it a high flow cat or a cat delete and then the cat-back system. 3 parts -- as for the fitting issues you may run into -- I couldn't tell you. I have a one manufacturer system

that is correct, downpipe, test pipe or high flow cat, and catback. The o2 housing is a nice addition but most people don't do it. You will also need to do something about your o2 sensor if you put a straight pipe on it because it'll throw codes. You can either get a 02 simulator or space out the o2 with 2 18mm antifoul spark plug adapters that you have to drill out to 1/2 inch in the center. I did it this way, cheaper and works great, only cost $5 for the parts.

If you get a Helix or Ultimate Racing Cat delete pipe it has a built in manual o2 fix.

If you're concerned about price, you won't get an HKS cat-back.
