Ok guys its time for an exhaust

what would be you're first choice..


One question though...What are the chances of loosing HP with the car being stock without any fuel modification and adding an exhaust?

There are 1 million thread discussing exhausts, their benefits, the different types, the pros, the cons, the sounds, the bling, the performance, blah blah blah.

My first choice is the one I have, but it's only a cat-back, since I don't plan on touching the DP or cat.

You run rich from the factory, so there's no reason to worry about fuel modifications in relation to the exhaust...there is no correlation. You don't need a fuel pump or fuel injectors until after you've done cams. You will definitely gain power with any exhaust, and there is no chance to lose power (that I know of).

I think he means Buschur.....anyways, i have the greddy titanium and its amazing.....weighs like 10 pounds, and has an amazing tone at idle and at WOT. Do a search in google or whatever and u should find sounds clips of it. The only disadvantage is the cost......it usuallys runs over $800. I managed to find one for $650, but i doubt u could find it for that cheap!

Buschur for sure. Unless you have gobs of cash but even then spend what you save buying the "boosh dogs" exhaust over the greddy titanium for other mods.

I didn't vote, cuz I think you should choose one you like the most, cuz the popular vote sucks... and you'll loose a lot of hp, but you won't lose any (though you might end up with one that doesn't GAIN any or gains like 3)! (unless you buy some 1 inch piping... or something stupid like that, then you could lose some)

 

I voted for other because I have a Helix TB and I love it.

 

I'd get the Greedy Ti if you can afford it - I've heard it and it sounds awesome. Wish I could afford one

i have the hks hi-power cat back with an apexi dp and perrin test pipe. it sounds and fits very well.

 

Yeah... but seems like the one I like no one thinks is any good?

Did a search on it and came up emty handed...whats this exhaust like as far as power...any dyno's for it?

I want power aswell as looks..im not into the sideways look...but i guess id deal with it if it was proven to make a decent amount of power!!
