If it's LHD then it's not a JDM or UK-spec car. It's probably a personal import from somewhere like Belgium or Germany where prices tend to be lower (and specs are often different with less standard equipment; though I'm not sure for the Evo). It would be a headache for him to export it to the States when he could EASILY sell it in the UK...so why do you think he's doing it. I wouldn't touch this deal with a 10ft barge-pole.
