MOST, not all of the issues you read about are from abuse or neglect on the drivers part. These cars and damn strong and if taken care of will last a long time and bring lots of enjoyment. So far I made about 100 1/4mile passes with the last 20 or so being 1.7s 60 all on the stock clutch and its just now starting to show signs of slipping and I have over 32k on the car now... I would have lasted longer if I didn't mess up my first dozen or so launches and spin the clutch so I have no complaints. Heck their are guys with 370+ whp running around on the stock clutch so take what you hear with a grain of salt.

Regarding the paint, like I posted above I have over 32k on the car now. I purchased it in October w/ 4 miles odo, that shows a lot of highway driving and my paint is holding up fine cause I was it on a regular basis. Agian it comes down to the care and maintenance of the car.

Like I mentioned in another one of your posts if you plan to change things like the suspension and wheels then maybe the MR isn't worth the extra coin, it would probably be wise to go with an 05 GSR that way you will save a few grand and still have a nice factory warranty, rather then buy a used 03 or 04.

Always good points from a fellow ex dubber that helps me realize why I could make it in a Evo

I'd be interested in buying or looking at the Red evo the guy mentioned sellin that lives in scranton and never drives it being just a car that sits. That was till I realized his is the car i was when i saw his burnout videos and beatin the **** outta it.
