Maybe I'm crazy, but I hopped out to http://www.mitsubishicars.com/evo/ today to take a look around. And it seems to me that the "Features and Specs" section has some new data.

For example:

"Engine Features: ...helps the Lancer Evolution accelerate from 0-60mph in 5 seconds" (not under, not near, but this reads like a published specification, 0-60 in 5 seconds according to the factory)

"Tubular front strut tower brace: ...Steel strut is standard. Accessory alloy strut is available".

"Customized RECARRO front bucket sport seats: ...Each front RECARRO seat features new silk-wave seat fabric with a circular embossed design to maximize surface friction between the occupant and the seat"

I don't remember seeing all of this before now... am I halucinating?

 

And in the flash window when you open the site says under. I think we will have to really wait for every publication to give their final verdicts.

Wait a little and read the little messages that pop up in the window with the yellow Evo to be more specific.

 

I think all that stuff was there before. It's just that we're all running out of things to fixate on and February seems to be passing in sloooooow mooooootiooooon.



Actually I remember the seat stuff cos I was wondering what they meant by a five point harness, and where is this air circulation vent that they speak of?

 

In looking at the engine features on the site it says "the engine helps the Lancer Evolution accelerate from 0-60 in 5 seconds." My question is, if you remove the engine then what would your 0-60 time be? How much does the engine help the Lancer Evolution achieve a 0-60 time?

so when are they supposed to give that evo away, it may be my only hope of getting one anytime soon
