Help!!!!!
Help!!!!!
i started my car today and my boost gauge in my EBC was reading 0 again......it did the same thing twice on Sat....to fix it on of the times i restarted my car and the gauge read Vac like it always does and the second time i taped the gas then it when from 0 to Vac......
today after driveing for about 20 min i stoped into a store and when i came back out and started my car it read 0 again.....by the time i saw the 0 on my gauge i had already started driving but only like 5 mph in the parking lot......so i hit the clutch and turned the car off and restarted it.......still read 0
... i parked the car and left it running still reading 0.....the brain for my Blitz which has the Vac line connected to it is very easy to get to so disconnected the Vac link from the brain and i didn't hear anything and the gauge still read 0.....what i did was i blew into the Vac input on the Blitz controler and boost went up then when back to 0......so i know the Blitz is working.....i put my finger on the Vac line from the manifold and i didn't feel or heard anything......so i hooked the Vac line to the Blitz still nothing.....i hit the gas to see if i could get it to read alittle boost.... nope stayed @ 0......at this point i don't know what to do car is running fine but reading 0 boost on the gauge all the time.....so it sit there for about 5 min then i look at the Blitz and it is reading -16 like it always does when it idles....
so when i was reading -16vac on the EBC i disconnected the Vac line from the brain .....and i could hear the VAC line sucking in air....put my finger on it and the hose stuck to it.....i put everything back together and reads -16Vac so i drive home and start typing this.......i know something is not right but i don't know what to do....could some one please help me out

You tapped the boost line in the wrong location. After the Fuel Pressure Regulator.
Retap it to the short line coming off the left top side of the intake manifold and your problems will be solved.

Ace fed
The fuel pressure solenoid is used to keep fuel from vaporizing in the fuel rail on hot starts. The ECU shuts off any vacuum going to the FPR for a set amount of time (not sure what amount that is). If your gauge is tapped in between the FPS and FPR when this happens, you gauge will stay stuck on zero until the ECU opens the FPS back up.
