thankz to Al and the guyz at Pruven... they did their jobs in giving us all the advice and tuning needed...

Im a lil upset at myself for my misfortunes... i wish my car would have produced the #'s i was expecting but improper installations on my car was made by others (NOT AL OR PRUVEN).

Im still trouble shooting my car and why it wont produce the power. Funny thing is, when i got home that night... I took the cover off again and the belt was tight as hell... so i sit in my car, confused for an hour... not coming up with any conclusions... i decided to tackle the problem with a clear head the next day.

When i popped the hood the next morning... to my surprise the belt was loose again... confused again for another hour... contimplating all the angles... came up with nothing... I decided to send an email to greddy tech and i have yet to hear a response from them if its a normal thing (cold=loose & hot=tight) which i doubt.

My next few thoughts was from the discussion I had with Al and Kenny that day at Pruven...

1- I could have a timing issue (even though all saw that the marks on the cams lined up to the eye.
2- I could have some shaft play on my oem turbo... which I havent had the time to investigate yet...

As far as I can gather... all the pre-tests were good (leak down, boost leak, plugs changed... etc) and I even went the distance to have my oil, synchro, tc and tranny fluids changed at Pruven before my ride was strapped to the dyno...

If anyone has any suggestions or ideas... hit me up...

Thankz to Al and Sean/Kenny/Dan at Pruven
its all good brah ... like i said .. dont scratch your head thinking about it .. let the pros get at your whip ... they'll solve it like they did to mine, johnny's and soon to be yours ! ...

I been thinkin and narrowing down the possibilities... it could have been from the install of the cams (March 04) till the installation of the belt (April 05)

i had the same problem (lack of power) from then in 2004 till now in 2005. In 2004, cams & gears went in with the e-manage, and i was only able to get 307whp on a dynojet in LI. I figured at the time more tuning needed to be done to hit the whp ballpark, but my installer/tuner hasnt had the time to help me out.

About a month ago, I had the upper inter-pipe, mini battery, and the belts changed. Last weekend at Pruven i had the e-manage taken off and during the time of strapping down the car the loose belt discovery was made. Even though it was loose I gave them the green light to go and dyno it. I drive my car VERY HARD WHENEVER POSSIBLE so i was surprised it survived to this day (thats why i gave them the green light). Even after the flash and the trouble shooting, last i heard my car only made 297whp. Thats when I had the conversation with AL, Kenny, Dan and Sean on what the problems could be.
