curious about them. we've had a few discussions regarding the nifty little piece on the MR over on IWSTI and there are varying opinions as to their worth or function.

SEARCH gives me a small number of threads, mostly people or places selling them.

looking for science here or reference to any information Mitsu has published on their function. i've seen arguments for and against them as of benefit.

more recently their is also a Japanese tuner who is now making an aftermarket piece for the STi using CF.

thanks in advance. and seriously, looking for real info here. not trying to troll or flame you or your fine AWD vehicles.

I have a mitsu tech document describing it in detail, it's a bit to large to post here, PM me your e-mail and I mail it to you, I think it's exactly what you're looking for

it is not going to make your car considerably faster or slower....handle better or worse....if you like the way it looks go ahead and get one.....other than that....it is not a critical item.

I did back to back 150mph runs without and then with, it did make the car noticeably more settled and less twitchy above 90mph, and while not "noticeable" I know it works below that some. Depends what you do with your car. I would feel better on a straight stretch on track with it.

at highway speeds, it does add some measurably downforce but in reality, its mostly for cosmetic since most of us arent fighting for .5 sec off their laptime on a roadcourse

I just put mine on this past weekend. So Far I haven't really noticed anything different with it. I just like the look of it
