After dealing with one modded evo.. I say put it all into suspension. Zeals, Ti strut bar, sway bar, Croxx plate, bushings, avc-r, safcII, catback, rotas and hoosiers. Car is way more fun this way. You will actually win at autox this way.. youll get dominated by putting all that money just into the engine.

The car is 100% stock but I have an Exedy twin clutch that will go in first (guess that will eat up $400-700 too). I'm thinking turbo-back exhaust is a given, and intake, and maybe dynoflash. Should I skip the flash and buy the AEM? Or just slap on whatever bolt-ons the money will buy?
