And if yours was leaking at 13 with stock being 17-18 (?) your turbo was working harder than it needed to, yes? For the sake of spool-up and longevity a good replacement BOV seems rather essential in my reasoning - which _is_ sometimes flawed, I"ll admit.
Yes, that is logical, but the leak effect is/was minimal with the stocker, and there are no recognizable gains from adding an aftermarket BOV without any other mods. It just doesn't seem like he knows or cares what a BOV is designed to do, but rather which one makes the most noise without casuing stalling/idling issues. I'd personally prefer to pick up 20-30whp while actually being able to monitor my boost than spend hundreds of dollars to make noise with no clue whether my boost is right or not (could be high, low, or in between). I'm wondering what his actual intentions are...

I have it works great and i have had no problems with it..........with the stock intake you wouldn't hear anything unless you where under full boost.... i have the Injen intake and i hear it all the time but it is louder under full boost...... i did alot of searching before i got a DV and this is the only one i have found, that no one has any problems with.

take it out of the box and put it on your car 10min install..... NO changing springs or using shims.....that is why i bought this DV

I'm hoping the mods notice your post-whoring before you get to 50. I can't believe how you keep responding to every person with the same damn crap over and over. You are trying to sell your Evo, yet you're asking about a car behind you hearing your potential aftermarket BOV purge with stock boost using the stock airbox? Good Lord, I will be ALL OVER your first For-Sale thread when you get to 50 posts...
