Well got the boost issues ive been having sorted out. (Had a taper from 22 to 17 with no leak). After doing a leak test and checking all the lines and connections found that my cheap-o MBC just wont hold anymore.

O also, I was driving normal and stopped to get some gas, and while pumping turned the boost down to about 19 psi. Then when i was all done i pulled out slowly and got away from the station and slowed down and put it in 1st and gave it about 80% throttle. After observing the boost and shifting into 2nd I got off the throttle completely and shifted into 3rd. I then notice a sherrif FLYING up behind me in a crown vic and heard his tires squeal to avoid ramming the poo out of me. I guess he was expecting me to speed. He then proceeded to follow me for about 5 miles or so (about 5.3) never giving me more than half a car length of space behind me. When he finally realized I'm not nervous he drives up next to me and FLIPS ME OFF!!!! wtf? New hanover county sherrif's dept always seems to give me trouble. The wilmington PD and Kure Beach police dept here and I have a good relationship, I even have a few officers as students in my Aikido class for supplemental training. It always seems *SEEMS* like the sherrifs dept has the least mature individuals who seem to get "protect and serve" confused with "I am jesus." I honestly wish something would change whether it be the profiling or giving the deputies a personality test. This is getting frustrating. Oh well...I gonna go make beef stew.

Hahaha good point. Those things are comfy though! I rode around friday night with one of my cop buddies in Kure Beach...Very roomy.

 

Man, it would have been tough for me not to give him the bird back or mouth some profanity. I don't think you can be arrested for that correct?

that happened to me too. i pulled out of a gas station in my teg and stopped, waiting to merge in. the cops were sitting slightly ahead in the next driveway, but i couldn't see them. i then gave it some gas as i started to move and let off throttle too abruptly, shaking the car (which may have looked like i was driving it hard), then shifted into 2nd and accelerated slowly. then i saw the cruiser sitting on the right of me as i passed him, i continued to accelerate slowly and went into 3, 4, just as i saw them pull out and starting to catch up with me. i just drove 5mph over limit and then exited where i always do. they didn't follow.

 

strangest thing, that also happen to me, i was at a light and when it turned green i decided to punch it and then as i let go, i see FARRRR behind me a cop with his lights on chasing me. i was lucky i got out of that one.

Why does it seem like *ALOT* of the officers are like this? I know a few and they're pretty cool but even they don't like most of the people they work with... I heard that the most likely person to become an officer is someone who was picked on a lot at shool and/or has never been given respect in general. I also realize they're ****** when they pull you over for a reason but why do they do what they do so often unprovoked?
