Don't ask us, ask your dealer. They can make up just about any excuse to void the warranty if they know you have any mods, even though they aren't allowed to according to the Magnusson-Moss Act. This doesn't stop them from denying warranty claims without proof, because it takes civil action or a lawsuit to get them to change their tune.

That being said, I'm trying to maintain my warranty coverage as well, and here are my beliefs:

1) Exhaust: Cat-back? Yes. DP/Cat? No.
2) Intake: Drop-in filter? Yes. Complete intake replacment including IC pipes? No.
3) Gauges: All yes.
4) Boost Control: EBC/MBC? No. Unless you are willing to uninstall/reinstall each time you visit the dealer (I'm doing this).
5) Tuning: Flash? No, they can detect it now. S-AFC? Yes, if you use fields harness and uninstall (takes 2mins).
6) Fuel: Pump? Yes, if it doesn't whine. No, if it does. Injectors? Yes, unless they can somehow figure out that they're aftermarket, then no.
7) Suspension: All no.
8) Cosmetics: All yes.

It's all subjective and dependent upon where you go and what the warranty claim actually is.

Technically, not alot. If you need warranty repair work done the inspector always looks for ANYTHING he can to void it. Don't mod unless you want to lose your warranty. Wait until the warranty is gone and then mod away. Call Mitsubishi if you don't believe me.

I remember reading somewhere that if you take your car in for warranty and the dealer denies it because the aftermarket part that was on the car made it go out, then you could request it on paper saying why they deny the warranty and what aftermarket parts did cause it to go out. If they deny it, they wouldn't have a problem writing it on paper.

What about a bov will it void the warranty?

Thats probably the best thing to do. It will obviously be more money to have it installed at the dealer but its definitely worth it if they will maintain your warranty. If you are planning on doing a lot of moding, more than just basic bolt-ons, then you can kiss the warranty goodbye.

Also, depending on the dealer they will probably give you a hard time for warranty service if the vehicle is altered in any way, but by law they must prove that the item that was altered caused the problem.
