discontinuing Defi D?

im in the market for a boost gauge, i heard the Defi D series has been discontinued, i realize that they are still available, but does anyone know if a new line, or new model is coming out, and when? cuz if there is a new model in the pipleine i could probably getaway with a autometer ultra-lite in the meantime until the new one debuts... appreciate any info thanks....

bump...

so what would you guys do, get like an autometer while waiting for the new line of gauges, or go with the original Defi D which i heard has some issues and that is why its being discontinued... i think it would be more cost effective to go with an inexpensive autometer for the time being and then going for the new line once its out...

are there any pics for the new line of guages coming out?

this is what i got from emailing defi

Thank you for your inquiry.

The one of the reasons for D-Gauge Mechanical gauges have gone out of
production is that it is unprofitable production.
Moreover, sine our mechanical gauges is very delicate, they need to pay
close attention and special packages to prevent shock in transport
process.

We are continually striving to produce more exciting products.

Thank you for the time and attention.

Sincerely,
Defi

so they are going to stop making mechanical gauges all together!?

i thought they were going to come out with a new model, guess not, so it would still be better to get a defi d now then huh? or should i just get an autometer ultralite and see if they come out with something better....

well i guess i should buy one while they still make them...

i heard that they are pretty sensitive to transport though, if it comes and is not calibrated or reading correctly, can you send it back?

Yes, Defi will warranty defective gauges. I believe for 1-year, but I'll have to confirm that.
