Do you or anyone for that matter have any experience with the new boost controlling flashes? I really dont want to install my MBC if I can just have the Computer do it.

would this be due to the 10.5T . ?

Also is it possible to port a 10.5T to something a lil bigger?

It's due to the 10.5, the improved wastegate flapper, and the increased boost. We still taper, but it's more like 20.3-17 instead of 19.5-16, which leads to 20+ whp on average in stock form...

No idea on porting yet...

i think its more like better engine management.. but the 10.5 is a good stepup from my 03 turbo.. as far as porting some do, but if you need bigger, get a bigger turbo.. the new rabbit looks good..just my opion..

Wouldn't you rather have full control of your boost, or do you want it set once and never touch it? I change mine all the time depending on the scenario: weather, octane, type of racing (auto-x, drag, street).

Okay so the 10.5 I can do and the porting of it I can call Buschur for more info but the wastegate flapper design is puzzling. an 03 with a ported 10.5T and increased boost via a flash would be similar in performance as an 05 correct?

I saw the new rabbit thread and have been following it closely. I would like to know a lil more before the hammer drops though. I beleive that the 10.5T is one of the safest buys right now simply because if I decide to upgrade to the WR the 10.5T would sell in one day here on these forums.

I do liken that but the cutting and splicing of lines then running it threw the firewall sickens me. catch 22 , I guess

unless your running an elec. b/c there is no running wire.. even that is an easy job installing a elec. b/c.. a manual is a 5 min job..
