Sigh...another Evo to Supra owner STC...
i like supras, but its nearly impossible to find one around here in the florida area, with low miles and for a decent price. also i wouldnt pay about 30 grand for a used car. even if it is a super car.

wow.. 11.2 @132 is just stupid.. Could almost run 10 flat in my talon at that mph..
On the top five cars I'd have to contribute the following future wannahaves,
1. Bugatti Veyron
2. Hennesey Viper (850hp TT)
3. Koenegsegg CC
4. TVR Speed Twelve
5. Batmobile or K.I.T.T.

i know what u mean with the supra....i am into drag racing as well...but I've gotten so far with my evo that it'd hurt to sell it.
I wish i could have both cars!

I think the Veyron goes for almost 2 million. If your incredibly rich and want the fastest overall street car on earth, its worth it
Love the Koenegsegg CC, just wish it was AWD though. Both these cars take stock Enzo's and McLaren's no prob.

How much power was this one putting down? the only hard part of letting the evo go is the amount i have put into it, which sucks! oh well, i guess if i find a really good reason to let it go, then i wont have as much of a problem. traction has been my main concern with the supra, even though some supra owners say launch control units help out alot.
Supra's seem to always have traction problems and are dyno queens. Compared to other RWD cars they always run slower even with the same hp:weight ratio. Plus most of the fastest ones are single turbo.
I was just talking about it with my friend... Big torque/hp cars are a lot more fun to live with day-to-day than autocross cars. Zipping from light to light in a Supra is gunna give you a much much bigger smile than in the Evo. So I completely understand your decision however I would never make it. Supra = 25-35k for a USED 100,000 mile car. Evo = brand new. That was why i didnt get a supra even though I would prefer one.
i dont know where u've been looking but im not gonna pay 30k for a 100,000mi supra. I plan to pay around that price or a little higher for one with about 40k miles or so on it. The car is a legendary car so its worth it to me, and swapping the motor isnt too big of an issue. And yes, daily driving, the evo is not fun whatsoever. Only thing i have to get used to is the feel of a hatch car again.
