It is a well know fact on the forum that the lower pipe to the turbo only came with the FMIC because it was only designed for the FMIC kit.
I asked David to make me one about a month ago as a one off part. His plan was to make it and use it to mass produce them because a lot of people were asking. So they are in fact in the works and it's only a matter of time before they come out.

I didn't even say that because I thought he was aware of this

Unless he is getting the basic fmic upgrade you will need all Buschur parts to fit correctly.

You should be ok as long as they're clamped on tight and the pipes aren't very heavy. Relatively thin-walled stainless steel and pretty much any aluminum should be fine. None of my pipes are bracketed (granted I don't drive an Evo), but they have never loosened or fallen off. Good clamps and good connectors are helpful, but they should hold I think. The higher boost pressure on the Evo is the only thing that would make me think there is an increased possibility for popping off.

You should probably change the title of your thread.

Like anything, miscommunication is just as bad as dissappointment especially when you have your credit card ready to use! This forum was a good place to get your question answered. I can say David Buschur is who I like to confirm with on technical race questions but his staff has been helpful too. David always responds in detail to my emails about racing and parts to use for better performance. You ought to email him and see what he says! Action Andy.

This thread is totally pointless. There are a million intercooler pipe kits out there. Buschur has his own thing going, so what? It's called a free market. Go somewhere else if he doesn't have what you want. Obviously he has his own market & customer base, and from what I read on here they are mostly quite happy with his products. But he's by no means the only game in town so quit going after the guy's pipes, he's obviously not interested in giving up the pipe to you
