Anyone interested an custom upper I/C pipe?

Hey everyone,

I was just talking to one of my co-workers and her husband has a metal shop. He has seen the stock evo upper I/C piping and has told me that he could make a custom pipe to go from the throttle body to the lower pipe, 2.75 inches in diameter (same of throttle body) with about to bends. He's going to try to make one with the stock battery in place for my car. If it works then he'll make ones for the mini battery as well (prolly with less radical bends).

If your interested please chime in because he wants to know the demand before he goes and starts ordering materials.

BTW no other aftermarket company sells JUST the upper piping except Buschur which requires you to use the mini battery.

I can't quote a price yet because he orders the metals in bulk so it depends on the demand. The more demand the cheaper. This guys makes replacement parts for trains and owns his own company so I think the quality will be top notch.

I guess you wouldn't know just yet but would it be adaptable to other aftermarket LICP such as Buschur? What kind of material, because I'd like to keep heatsoak in mind..

I going to sit down with him tonight and discuss what materials, length, flanges, use with stock and aftermafter intake and airboxes etc.... I'll let you know as much as I can tomorrow. But if your interested still chime in, thanks.
