Im thinking either 264/264, 264/272 or 272/264. My car is a daily driver right now i have basic mods putting out 310 and 314tq on a mustang dyno. Ive been researching and i think the 264/272s give the most low end tq but does it matter that the tq falls off in the upper rpm ? please post some of your dynos and what cams your running so i can compare. I have shearced also im just stuck thanks

I like 264 / 264 HKS

On the stock turbo and engine 272 does not give any significant gains and gives you a rough idle

 

I'm very happy with 272/272... do a search with "272"/"Zeus" if you are interested in my opinions on the subject.

 

264/272 best of both worlds. 272 will not shine with the stock turbo.

 

272s for both and if you adjust your cam gears then you have no issues with idle. i made 304 whp on pump gas on dyno4mance's dynodynamics dyno.

 

264's. My 03 made 319/312 on a mail in flash with these cams and trapped 111/112 on pump gas.

 

As far as i know having ur exhaust cam bigger than the other cam is better idle wise and maybe a little performance wise that is if u r going for a combination of 264 and 272 but for me on a stock turbo 280s did hell of a job :-)

 

358whp/355tq with 280's and stock turbo, injectors and intercooler on 93 octane/alky

 

264's @ -2. No downfalls what-so-ever. Better drivability & WOT power!

On the vishnu board, dustin (vishnu employee) claimed that for the longest time, the best stg 1+ powered car was obtained with 264 hks cams.

 

272's. 333whp / 320tq with stock turbo, intercooler, and injectors on Mustang Dyno.

 

Does anyone have the 264/272 setup? Looks like its that or straight 264's

 

So what cams give the most performance and aren't bad for everyday type of driving? And what would i probably make having an 03 evo, with only an intake, make with cams?

I went from 296.9 to 342.8 on a mustang dyno just by adding GSC 264/264's. Stock turbo/intercooler/injectors/hotside/o2 housing/manifold/no alky etc. No idea what I'm at now. Daily driven and have not had any problems with them.

 

264/272 Here 380whp and 360wtq

360wtq - 350wtq from 3700 - 5200rpm

Can't beat that
