I'm tired of reading these stupid *** threads trying to look down upon the EVO's amazing abilities. Nobody ever said it was the fastest (sh*t it only has 276HP, really 300HP) some 4 doors have 500HP. Nobody ever said it was the best handling and best braking car, but for it's price tag it's hard to beat. So is there a 4 door car that can match the EVOs deadly combination of speed, handling, and braking? (Not including a STi, which I have my doubts).

In a 4 door I would say your right I can't think of any. Now 4 seater 2 doors that's another gambit. It's safe to say the EVO is unmatched in the 4 door category.

 

They dont have 300HP, the only horsepower that counts in my book is WHP and its far from 300, try 230WHP or so stock.

 

How about an Audi S4, looks soo much better than an evo. Luxary, speed, brakes, power, suspension, and a hefty price tag, but u get what you pay for.

 

Too bad the S4 still doesn't out perform the Evo.

 

A 4 door Rocket..... How is that.... Well maybe if the rocket get some upgrades it might keep up to the Evo otherwise, EVO is King!!!

volvo S60R certainly takes the cake in class how about some of the AMG mercedes? i autocross against one in A stock and it pummeled me the first time i went up against it. wait... the one i raced against was a 2 door. but the 4 doors can run mid 11's stock.

 

definitely Audi RS4 brand new with 410hp V8 motor. but price doesn't match at all.

I think what he means is that the 276hp is underrated. If you remember many Japanese cars state 276hp to conform to regulations. Look at the Skyline. Do you really think it has 276hp? How about the Supra?

 

Try shutting the f*ck up newbie, 230WHP on what dyno? I'm talking dynojet and most EVOs dyno higher than that on a dynojet. Even using your very low 230WHP numbers, the EVO loses more to the wheels due to AWD, so engine power is right around 300HP

 

Notice how I said all around performance, where does looks come into play there. The EVO is just as quick, EVO handles better, brakes better. Your 4th post is enough, your done.
