You are right - to me $9000+ in parts cost is heavilly modded - not so to others.

Cost: $23,100 plus shipping to ABQ.

Wow great deal and great car, I love the color. Get the car to a strip, I'd love to see what she runs. I think with a great tune, you can make even more power and also try an alcohol injection kit, and try to go for close to 400WHP on pump gas.

Nice car

Nice car...used and nicely modified is definitely the way to get into an EVO (or any car for that matter). Make sure you are comfortable with the AEM EMS or have someone close by that is, because tuning it is a very lengthy, and arduous task, but once you get it right...it kicks serious @ss!

Thanks for the input. I am planning on learning all about it. The previous owner said he had it professionally tuned in Chicago. I have a tuner lined up in ABQ who has AEM on his turbo 350Z. He has tuned other cars with AEM and seems competent.

Thanks

Some upgrades: HKS 272/272cams, HKS adjustable gears, HKS Exhaust system, AEM EMS, AEM UEGO, Tein type S spring, Cusco type II front strut bar, Cusco carbon fiber rear strut bar, Greddy 720cc injectors, Greddy boost gauge, Greddy turbo timer, Exedy Hyper-Single racing clutch kit, Lancer Shop shift bushing kit, Lancer Shop clutch-line kit, Project Mu brake pads, JDM MR rear tail lights, AMS blackout front lights, BuchurRacing Big Front Mounted Intercooler, BuchurRacing Upper and Lower Intercooler pipes kit, small battery kit, Volks Ce28N wheels and rays wheels nuts, 10k HID headlight system upgrade and some minor upgrades.

My tuner in Albuquerque says it should be the fastest EVO in New Mexico.

I am going to have it tuned for 91 octane (it is currently tuned for racegas/93 octane combo) and the Albuquerque altitude. I am also going to get an ipod adaptable stereo head.

Anyone think of other mods that I should look at?

The car has 11,000 miles.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but you wont be the fastest in New Mexico, i am about to add a lot of upgrades to my car and have it custom tuned in Denver. By the way, i dont live in aurora anymore, i currently live in Gallup. if you dont mind me asking, who is doing your tuning and what shop you taking it to? ive been told by some people not to trust shops in Albuquerque. maybe we can get together sometime and check each other's cars out. Congrats on the though, you will love it!

I am taking mine to Solid Technology. After talking to Sean there, I get a good feeling from his shop. When do you get your mods on? Sean was the one who said it woulod be the fastest (probably). Maybe it will be until you get your mods.... But, yea, I would like to get together and see your car. I am out of town for a couple weeks though. PM me.

What does stage 4 etc. mean? Any good links to find out? I checked Buscher's site and could not find it.
