I have the Mitsu factory option blue anodized shift knob (ball shaped). I like the way it feels, but a lot of people seem to be liking the counterweight knobs. Personally, I don't track my car (yet) and I think the counterweight would feel a little too heavy to me.

Any vendor website should have a picture of one. I think its the only knob greddy has for the evo.

Alright here you go:

well, i know this sounds stupid, but what does exactly is a counter weight shift knob. im new to driving a manual and never really new anything about shift knobs. besides they make different designs. and yes also i like the mitsu factory blue one. how much did that run you ? and could you recommend a place where to get it for a decent price.

^ I bought my Evo used, so the blue knob was already on there. But I'm pretty sure lancershop.com has em. I'll double check for ya.

ok here's the link to it. It's cheaper than a dealership, but still pretty damn pricey...

and here's the link to the Greddy (it also explains the benefit of the counterweight, sort of); it's lots cheaper, too.... hope this helps!!

I'm using the Razo RA112 knob. I picked it up from Sounddomain.com for about $30. I was using the GReddy, but the sticker kept falling off the top due to the AZ heat so I needed something without a sticker.

Sorry for the blurry pic... I'm still figuring out how to work my new 7.2mp camera. I think it looks kinda cool though.

I have a Momo (ball shaped, aluminum wrapped with leather) in my eclipse, and i like it alot. The damn all aluminum ones (like stock in my MR) get hotter than hell. Are the greddy ones the same?

Anyone know of knobs coming with the 6-speed shift pattern??
