Depends if it thru the paint or not.. but I'd try some 3m rubbing compound first, then wax it... don't try wet sanding if it isn't deep. If it is thru the paint, try to get the closest color touchup paint that has the little PEN on one end. Then carefully go inside of the scratch just enough to cover up any white deep parts you see. Be careful not to flood the scratch so you messed up the look of the paint. Then let it dry. If you need to if its that deep, get 1500 grit or 2000 grit sandpaper and lightly WET SAND the scratch. (just enough so it feels like it all blends together by rubbing you finger lightly over it) Then use some rubbing compound to buff out the scratches the sandpaper made. Then use your favorite wax or polish to give it a good shine.

I used 3M rubbing compound on the light scratches. I know for a fact it works well on the lighter scratches. I would also try scratch X for heavier scratches. I think scratch X is a bit grittier.

You can get the 3m rubbing compound at any painters shop, or even some big superstores carry it. (I don't know if you have Meijers or not by you). I've seen it at places like Advance Auto Parts in the paint aisle too. Sometimes it can be hard to find. It works the best though for light scratches. Thats pretty much what all big car dealerships use.
