How To Detail Car
Can someone please describe and number the steps of waxing your car? I want to do it this weekend but dont know wat to do first or use..i want to use clay bar and a wax so can u fill in my blanks . Thanks

Only use a clay bar if you must. Every time you use it it removes a small amount of your clear coat.

Is that true that claying takes away your clear coat? Is it enough to actually effect your paint in anyway?

No, its not true. If soft clay can take off clear coat, we would have much more to worry about when taking care of our paint.

BTW, you are supposed to use water as a buffer when claying the car.

Or if you're a real **** like me, an in-between wax spray detailer (Mequiar's Qwik Detailer comes with their Clay Bar, and works really really well).

i use the bottle that came with my clay bar, but you can use water or car wash soap. My detailer told me i should wax my car after i clay it though.
