I didn't want to take any chances so I took it very easy with the launch and shifts. But it still went 11.49 @ 126.4 mph. I was extremely impressed as this car idles like a stock EVO with an exhaust. I believe his car dynoed 550 awhp. The car should run mid to high 10's with a good launch and a little speed shifting.
These are the kind of cars I am talkin about. Keep em coming

I think the most "streetable" setup would have to be a stock-turbo application, by far. I drive my car literally every single day that I have to go somewhere, including to work. I have no other car. 100% driven everywhere.

Performance Mods:

Buschur Racing Intake
Buschur Racing Deluxe FMIC
Buschur Racing Upper I/C Piping
3" QTP Y-Pipe Electronic Cut-Out
HKS 272i / 272e
Walbro 255lph Fuel Pump
NGK BR8ES @ .018 (and still misfiring)
Buschur Racing Methanol Injection Kit
TurboXS HP MBC
Buschur Racing/DynoFlash Custom-Tuned ECU

*stock* everything else not mentioned including turbo and 9.8cm^2 exhaust housing

389whp / 420wtq dyno chart here

No legit time slips yet due to reasons beyond my control... may have time slips in a month or so...

If I could find a way to cure my misfire problem at idle (on a daily basis), I'd gap it higher. It's been misfiring at idle at every even #'d gap from .018 to .028... almost considering using br9es's soon... =/

daily driver...a/c..full interior etc...heavy 18" adr wheels and regular sumitomo tires(for road and track)
i drive this car to work everyday.
10's are not too far away...but need to get some management so i could raise the boost safely

I think Curt Brown has the fastest Evo with the stock turbo. I beleive it is also street driven. After he's finished upgrading his turbo I'm pretty sure he'll have the fastest Evo, non N2O. He's probably one of the best drivers out there too. All that and he's from the Steel City.

My definition of "fastest street car" would be one that passes all inspections such as emissions in certain states and runs on 91 or 93 daily. But no one would probably be interested in that

At idle you have less exhaust energy thus less heat in the combustion chamber. I would suggest you don't go any colder and stick with stock plugs with your stock turbo set up.
Gap them to .030 and I'm sure you will be fine. Just try it and see for yourself.
Otherwise you have a nice car there with the Buschur mods. One of my favorite vendors.
