how long have you had the vehicle?
There was a gentleman on here that bought his MR and discovered a Rat or something making a nest in his AC unit 10 days after he bought it. He thought it might have been there when he bought it.

Same thing happened to my Z when I gave it to a friend. When I got it back the only way to remove the smell was to strip the entire interior, yes everything including the dash and carpeting, wash it, disinfect with lysol, wash again. I was a real PITA!!

I had that same problem when I had my eclipse. Never found out where it was coming from or what it was. Thankfully the smell went away.

LOL did you feel a power loss when you started finding mouse crap? Check the hampster wheel under the turbo, thats Mitsu's way to get the turbo to spool faster sumtimes those lil bastards sneak out.

I dont see how that mouse/rat could handle like 120-130 drgree heat inside that car when its in the sun with the windows up, ide say its probably dead by now. This has gotta be one of the weirdest thing i have heard.

Some racoons slipped under out garage door, knocked over a tub of kitty litter, and the top was down on my old S2000, that car reaked of kitty litter till the day I sold it. Nothing got rid of the smell, I can't imagine what it would take to get rid of something like a dead animal.

gas+match..... just kid. They have people that can find dead stuff and even people who will clean and disinfect-- (like if someone gets shot in their car) check the phone book or ask some police folks..........
