Got my evo about 2 months ago, and have no stoped modding. My list of mods are
APS 3" TBE no cat, APS BOV, APS Cold Air Intake, Walbro 255, HKS 264i-272e, dynoflash running 20 with the boostflash.
i got 291.5 awhp, 312 tq at pruven, and was just wondering if you guys this is low? i was expecting a little bit more but al said my clutch was slipping on the dyno. If anyone could share their opinion i would greatly apreciate it.
And this has been asked a 1000 times but any suggestions for whats next? would fuel injectors make a big difference? im lookin for low cost bang for buck under $500

 

is Al said that your clutch was slipping, I would look into replacing that before any more performance mods...you wont be able to actualize your mods if your clutch is beat.

 

IMO it is low, you should be around 320WHP+

Yes, it's quite low unless your clutch was actually slipping. Those mods are good for 325 and up to 350 if you get some boost control. Why do you have all those other mods but not a boost controller? You can run more than 20psi safely and easily...

When you ask what clutch can hold 450hp, do you mean wheel or crank? If wheel, I'd say Exedy, but if crank, then ACT HDSS w/street disk or 6-puck.

 

thanks for the info... probably crank i dont think its gonna get above 450 crank i have a greddy e01 im putting in on the 12th, keep in mind i did all this in about a month but electricles are my weekness. thanks for that productive post warrtalon... how much boost would you run if u were me?

 

21 on 93oct...more on 100oct or higher.
