In California, the dealership puts a temporary tag on the inside of the windshield with the VIN # and the owner's name displayed. Once the plates and the registration come in the mail (30-60 days after purchase), then the temporary sticker can be thrown out.

Wow how many EVO's are in Fresno? Unless the same EVO's are getting stolen and recovered? I thought older Honda's and Toyota's were the most stolen vehicles?

Strange!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There aren't that many in Fresno, at least not that I've seen. And yeah, Hondas and Toyotas are stolen in much greater numbers than most other cars. I thought his statement was a bit odd.

I see the same cops on patrol every day. I make sure I look them in the eye and I give them a "What's up" nod and a slight smile. They can run plates all they want and it's going to come up legit every time. Pretty soon they will just know it's the legal yellow Evo and leave me alone. Long as I don't blow by one doing ten over...

i've been pulled over more times than i care to remeber, i dont even care to ask anymore for what reason they are pulling me over, i have a family memebr that can take care of tickets that i didnt deserve to get.

funny thing is when i had my gti vr6, i never got pulled over, for no reason.

Around here Civic's and Integras get pulled over a lot. Not many kids driving Evo's so I guess they leave us alone.
