One retarded evo driver

The other day I was driving along a local road and ended up side by side with another Evo owner (20's guy, silver Evo in Burnsville) and the guy literally wouldn't even turn his head to look at me - I tried a couple times to get a response (waving, etc.) and then just gave up. The sad thing is that all I wanted to do was say hi, grats on your Evo, and let him know about some of the local stuff going on.
I'm really glad, though, that most of the other Evo owners I've met fit into the first group - great people who are fun to be around.

With the Evolution owners in Georgia, all are great, none of that back in 90's kids stuff... well there are few evo owners in atlanta that I can't stand, actually one.
lol
i can feel ya on the clutch issue. when mine was going out i was just pulling in to my apt. and i got a noise violation for it. i told the cop what was going on. he said i dont care your a rice burner. i was pretty angry. i took it to court and it was dropped.

Fortunately, I got my replacement in soon, but those few days of slipping were about as bad as it gets

Sounds exactly like some guy around town with a red srt4. I'll be pumping gas.. he revs at me and blows his mopar bov off bout 10 times. I'm stopped in traffic same thing.. A few weeks ago I got 2 cars behind him in a light.. He revved and revved and revved at the light to the point where I started feeling sorry for the motor in his car.
I've yet to get beside him at a light.. but when I do.. I plan on making him shut up real quick
I've only seen 1 evo in town and he won't even waive.. when I go out of town EVO owners always waive.. The car looked stock too.. I guess he's too cool to waive.. and mod.

i always look at lancer and wave, but have yet to have even one wave back or look at me. and ive driven 16k miles in my evo in a year of heavy traffic. i wanted a lancer before i could afford an evo, so i maybe different then other evo drivers, but i think of lancers as the evo's cool little brother.

From: Maple Shade NJ - All ur base r belong to us
some ppl like to rev while engaging 1st gear and getting their cars to move while driving in parking lots so that everyone can hear their exhaust. i see plenty of hondas and vw's and mustangs do that ish, so some evo guys r prolly no different (if that guy's clutch was slipping, that's another story). it is completely unnecessary since a good driver can get it moving with one smooth motion of the pedal, unless ur flywheel weighs like 1lb. i've only run into 1 evo owner who was kinda pissing me off. kept trying to race me in mid-density traffic on turnpike. every time i pulled up next to him and tried to wave or give thumbs up, he would just GUN it and started jumping between cars, wtf?! funny thing is that no sti or wrx ever did anything stupid like that with me. i just wave at them like i do to evo drivers.
