One retarded evo driver
While I was down in Neveda on a family vacation. Some punk *** evo driver was behind us Reving his engine like there's no tomorrow. As we were trying to find a parking lot the bastard reved his engine outragiously loud. My cuz was trying to get into the slot of a parking space, that *** reved his engine continuesly. It pisses me off how that fellow evo driver do such a childesh thing. That day I wasn't driving my car. Heck he sure pissed the **** out of me. What was he trying to proved? I don't know. My thought is that he can't drive that car on an uphill or the first gear. Or maybe he was just trying to prove that hmm... look at me I got an evo I must drive fast every time. Ah maybe he was trying to prove that he was d!ck. After he and his buddy got out of the car it didn't seem like they were in a rush. I'm just thinking to myself that that's one bad egg out of the breed. So my question is, do you guys/gals ever done this?

As of now I'm still down in Cali so I have no access to any pix of it. check your pm on monday if you're still interested
My guess is slipping clutch, When mine went out it was embarrassing . Almost everyone I pulled up next to thought I was being a dick, so I put my head down and tried not to make eye contact so they wouldnt think it was directed at them. Man was the ISH horrible

Actually i do rev my engine in traffic because I like to hear the engine. I'm sure other people think something or other but I really don't give a flying fork what some commuter thinks. If you want to drive like a robot thats fine but I'm not a robot and I do what I want.

Interesting thread if only because it seems to bring out the differences in some Evo owners. I'm pretty involved in the local Evo community, and my car is obviously modded (like the big cam lope, loud exhaust, wheels and tires, etc.). What I've found when I run into other Evo owners is that they are either really cool - they like to talk, wave, share info, etc. or completely the opposite.
The other day I was driving along a local road and ended up side by side with another Evo owner (20's guy, silver Evo in Burnsville) and the guy literally wouldn't even turn his head to look at me - I tried a couple times to get a response (waving, etc.) and then just gave up. The sad thing is that all I wanted to do was say hi, grats on your Evo, and let him know about some of the local stuff going on.
I'm really glad, though, that most of the other Evo owners I've met fit into the first group - great people who are fun to be around.
