Whats this BABY worth???

hey guyz...

heres the deal...i found this car for sale...its a 2005 MR however its the one that comes with five-speed....yet AYC/ACD ...believe it or not...the 6-speed gear box is an option here...this car has 3700 miles(6000kms) on it...Rally red color...in mint perfect condition..and an accident free history... with the following mods on it:

HKS DOWN PIPE
GREDDY FULL TITANIUM EXHAUST
GREDDY intercooler
BLITZ BLOW-OFF VALVE
CRYO2 intercooler spray
D2 adjustable coil overs
Silicon vacum hose set
Apexi super AFC
Blitz 4 setting boost controller (electronic)
HKS Turbo timer
Voltage, boost, vacum, air flow, tacho gauges
Remote central locking

how much would you estimate a GOOD deal on this baby?
thanks in advance.

Hey dxbevo8,

Well the price really depend on the car.. Is it Gulf Spec or is it a converted car.. If converted then it should be pretty cheap.... If Gulf.. Well I'm not really uptodate with the current Evo prices I know they went sky rock but I say a good 30,000 to 40,000k on the original price.. Maybe more.... If you are serious about getting the car I would take it to a garage which knows Evo from top to bottom and give it a good check on the mechanical.. Last thing you want is something to go wrong after you bought the car..

Good Luck..

cool...thats good....to hear...

yeah i have a 2005 evo MR myself...in white..with the nice black Suede interior..but its different the rest of the evos here in dubai..coz it has the 6-speed gearbox...one of two in dubai (the other one is a rally car so you wont see it on the streets)....i converted it from right to left in al Habtoor Mitsubishi Motors and it cost me a little more than 35000AED($10,000) for the conversion...right now it has 2400kms(1400 miles) on it...still bone stock!!
i love it so much...and i am enjoying every minute of it..!!

but i can let it go if i got offered a good price

yes..i totally agree with you when its done by any "outside" garage...however...when you convert it at the agent...they change each and every little bracket...wires mounts and steering column...they change everything..inorder for it to get registered...thats why its a two months job :S
however it turned out to be a beast...
on the other hand..i loved the interior..it has the japanese full options interior..the climate control is outstanding...the seats are crazy and the six speed is the most interesting...thats why i sacrificed...i'm diff. from every other evo in this region..lol
and hey...i get a lot of Wanting to Buy offers!!

Then Why are you getting another Evo if you already have one.. ?? By the way I remember a friend of mine told me that the dealer had a 6 speed Evo 8 in red if I remember correctly about 4 month's ago or so. The car came with a 5 speed but the 6 speed gearbox was changed at the dealer and was sold as a 6 speed. That's is as far as I know..

It is really nice to have that extra gear.. My car is really noisy on emirates highway..

My car has black Suede also.. I really hated the silver thing which came factory..lol..

One last thing can you post some pix of your car would love to see it.. Never saw an MR in white....

Last year I got to visit my parents who live in Oman. On our trip in we stopped over in Dubai for a day. Great city. Would definately consider doing a gig in Internet city.

How does the EVO hold up in the heat? I live in Dallas where it gets pretty hot, but the Middle East completely redifined what I think of as hot. My EVO does alright, but I notice the oil temp gauge getting up to 200degs on really hot days if I get caught in stop and go traffic. Do you install a second oil cooler or put in a larger radiator?

Good luck on your search.

well..dubai is a great city...as well as crazy...but yeah you are right...it gets a little hot from june to end of sept..thats when everyone leave for vacation...anyways..back to the subject..the gauges on my car do not show a big difference even when very hot...however..i feel an overall decrease in the performance of the car and the a/c is awsome i tell you but a lil loud..

Over n' out

dxbevo8,
Mine is an Orange Evo 7.. Gulf Spec...

BlueBlurSTi,
You drive a Subaru.. No you can't come.. LoL.. Just playing with you.. Your more than welcomed here..

tweekscratch,
Well if you drive the evo normaly on the road then you won't really notice it.. But don't even think of taking it to the track.. That's how I lost my engine 1 year ago.. Over heated..
