its seems like a hard hit, but should be an easy fix for the most part. right frame rail will probably need to be repaired.
saved my self about 10K from the purchase of a used one. took me about 2 months to find and win(auction) the right one.

finding the headlight is killing me. the passenger airbag is the same as the regular lancer.

I assume theres frame damage, Is that factored into your 5k?

 

ohh, and my brother did the same thing with is 04 wrx last year. saved him self 7k from the purchase of a used one. for him, the engine turned out to be bad (subarus have there timing belt in the front)
his car is awesome, and it has had it for exactly a year

Not bad, I figure you got a mint Evo for about $20K if it takes $10K to repair it which is probably way on the high side.

yep, thats the most expensive part. for my bros wrx, a collision shop repaired both frame rails, painted all front end parts and an aftermarket rear bumper for $2400.

 

i will definatley be giving updates with pics as i go by
