I wouldn't say that Cedar Point is the BEST amusement park in the world. It is one of the best, but the BEST is a pretty strong statement. Magic Mountain is pretty intense as well, as is Fujikyu Highlands in Japan. I had a great time in Sandusky, but that was a pretty strong statement.

You could hit "The Flats" in Cleveland if you are there on a weekend night. That is a pretty nice area to go out.

If you have never riden on "X" at Magic Mountain, then I would reserve comment on the best steel coaster. OMG that thing was intense! You are traveling on 2 axes at the same time.
I was at Cedar Point in 97. The tall steel coaster the I rode there was awesome. I can't remember the name. Fujiyama II in Japan used to be the tallest steel coaster, and it was awesome as well.

Actually Cedar Point has been rated as the number one roller coaster amusement park in the world more than once.
Riggi's is closed, I can't believe you ate there! Not many locals do, mostly truck drivers who don't know better and need a place to park

Best money you can spend is in Wakemen itself, but you can't enjoy that until Dave is done, the second best is Ceder Point

Not much to do here. Too bad your appointment isn't in a few weeks. You could atleast watch the dyno pulls while you are here.
The actual work on your car is only going to take a day. The time is from overnighting the ECU to Al and back. I apologize for that.
We send it out the day the car gets there and we have it back early on the 3rd day. So it is more like 2 days and a morning
Hope that makes you feel better.
Lake Erie is close by, you can take a boat trip to one of the islands, pretty cheap actually. Good Times one is an all day cruise with a couple of stops for about $25.
Couple of water parks you can hit close by. Take a 45 minute drive to Cleveland and see the Rock and Roll hall of fame, there is also another big buidling right next to the Hall of Fame, I can't remember it's name but it is a science building I think, very cool. Tons of things to do within an hour of us. Not much traffic if you don't hit 9 and 5 o'clock rush hours.
You can hang out at the shop and BS too, we get busy and have work to do so don't feel left out if we run off to do something like answer a phone or weld up a part

Seriously though - for me the best part about the Norwalk area is that everyone is real friendly and relaxed compared to the NY area where I live. I find it a very peaceful place and I particularly like driving out in the back roads.
