anyone tried/heard of this alky kit on an Evo

Just curious if anyone is running or knows of someone who is a Dual stage alky injection kit from coolingmist. If so, how hard is it to adapt it to an Evo and of course performance wise how it test out. It does come with a 90 day warranty and is 200 cheaper than the other one I am looking at. thanks for your input.

I heard about cooling mist they do alcohol kits for SRT4's and i dont see why It cannot adapt to the evo...

I'd say go for it, its cheaper and cooling mist is a great vendor.

Yeah, I have read nothing but good stuff about them. BTW you can make anything work it just depends on you abilities or your bank account.

thanks I think I might have to give it a try...I would think the modifications I can handle no prob...basically it seems all you have to do is get the pump to mount to the tank and such, maybe a few feet of extra hose and all...we will see.

I'm running the Coolingmist single stage kit with 150psi pump. It is simple to install, works great and makes a BIG difference.
I boost 25PSI all the time with 91 octane in the 115F AZ summer with no knock. I run a 50/50 mix of distilled water and Methanol.
The 1.5Gal res lasts over 3 tanks of gas, and I boost all the time. I have it set to inject at 17psi. I'm running the M5 nozzle. I was running the M3 nozzle. Since I changed I noticed a big jump in mid/high range torque.
The Coolingmist kit is good quality, simple (KISS) and reliable.

I'm going to get another one to install on my wife's SRT-4, It's that good.

thanks bishiboy...I think I will give it a try..hell its made in ATL anyways where I will be doing the install and retune..

BADEVO...I think I am gonna try this kit, but may do the dual stage instead...The single stage can be had from Logic for a good price....coolingmist themselves sells them on ebay for 194 shipped for single or 315 shipped for dual stage...They also come with the option of a clogged indicator or a tank...think I will splurge and get this sometime this week.

bishi..one more ?...so u do use the trunk tank on an 03 right or do i need the extra tank...thanks.

I just ordered one myself -- I'm stoked! I was told just to use the stock IC spraying bottle in the engine instead of getting a tank.

I'm curious though -- those that have alky injection anyone try windshield wiper fluid?

Back on Topic....I know Carter will post a full review of the products. He may even post in the how to section as I do the install. Stay tuned.
