My Evo became a victim of Hit & Run
damn man, sorry to hear. i go to school up at psu and usually most ppl aren't douche like that. probably some ohio stater thinking you're a local. jp but seriously.. definitely check about security cameras or something, you shouldn't have to get shafted. good luck
Major suckage!! You and me both bro. Stopped by friends house after work Friday, and unbeknownst to me, he points out a nice white paint scrape and dent along rear driver door and qtr. panel. Just got a $840.00. est, ruined my whole weekend.
thnx everyone. yea since i bought the car at darcars mitsu i'm going to take it to darcars collision center. i talked w/ the psu police dept. and they just told me to call state college police dept. all they did was take a look at the damage, write up paperwork, and then gave me the incident num and told me to call my insurance. I talked w/ several psu people at artsfest and they said cars getting messed up isn't that uncommon during artsfest. o well. i just gotta endure drivin a civic til i get the evo back from the shop...transition from turbo to na...
yeah, that sucks. Good thing you reported it to the college. Most people don't mess with doing that, since it won't get you anywhere. Maybe if they get enough complaints they'll do something to keep it from happening in the future..
...well...yeah, right...
anyhow, that Evo 9 bumper is pretty sweet...

Thats funny because I was thinking of getting a Gialla front bumper instead of going back to stock. Might even cost less.
i got hit and ran twice, not on my evo. But i know how that feels.
I kept thinking about CSI, where you analyze the tire track, paint that was left on the car, trying to find out if there was a secret survalance camera near by, looking at where people parked for the next 3 weeks...
just move on and have the insurance take care of it.
that's the only thing that'll make your life easier.

This is exactly why I'm afraid everyday when I go to school... That's also why I pay a couple hundred dollars a year to get a garage permit, only to park on the top levels away from everything and everyone. It's a college campus, and the majority of kids there are intoxicated, or just don't care about anything. Next time take into account that a lot of kids would find joy in destroying your car, and keep it hidden somewhere. Good luck on getting it fixed though
