Evo VS. G35
Evo VS. G35
2 hours ago, I was 100 % sure that the EVO is the car that I want. Then I remembered parking a Infinity G35 a while back (I work at a restaurant). And then I decided to look it up. Well the price of the Evo in around 30 grand, and the G35 is around 33 grand. But in my opinion, once u can pay 30 grand, 3 more is no big deal. But thats beside the point.
I don't need to mention and specs for the Evo, cause u already know all of them.
The G35 has 298 hp, V6 6 speed stick. Full leather standard. Real wheel drive.
I love the look of the G35, but the Evo is slightly faster (I still like how the evo looks too)...even though the Evo has less hp. And they get about the same amount of MPG.

you need to test drive each , before you can make your decision
Few factors that helped me decided were that you get four doors, all wheel drive, and more room for a lesser price. Although it is only a 3000 difference. Also the the G35's upgrades are limited and expensive compared to the Evo's. The G35 has a more sexy look, in an upscale, sophisticated, and exquisite sort of way.
My stock evo vs friend intake and exhaust G35 from a roll - Evo wins
My evo (cams, tbe and ecutek) vs G35 (same friend but Twin Turbo this time pushing around 400+) from a dig = Evo win , from roll 1mph-85mph = he wins, from 90+mph roll = I win

If searching hurts your brain, consider this.
With the VPP pricing, my father's G35 came out to $38k. This was with all worthwhile options, sport brakes, interior packages, aero packages and Nav.
Its pretty fast, looks great, and is smooth and luxurious. It handles well, moves well and brakes well, albeit not as well as the Evo. There's less aftermarket support and it's harder to garner power from the VQ safely.
At this point you're comparing apples and oranges, you may want to take some time and...

g35 cost much more than 33k, especially 05s with 300hp w/ sport package.
you are looking close to 40k on g35.

350z will be better choice w/ your money.
or evo if you don't mind fast & furious stuff...

And I like the 350z, but it is a two seater. I have mass friends and I am always ridding with like 3 other friends.
