This won't be close at all, the mods on the GS-T aren't really anything, and the EVO is modified too. People who are saying that it will be close are pretty damn stupid. look DSMs are nice, but this DSM doesn't even have enough mods to hang with a stock EVO let alone a moddified one. So you dumb *** people say stock for stock a GS-T can hang with an EVO or if the two cars have the same botl on mods. His EVO is a 12 second car, the GS-T with those mods is a high 13/low 14 second car.

win by car lengths. fwd + t-25 = no win situation. If he was a GSX with a 16g it would be a different story. Race the guy in any gear and you will be putting car lengths on him.

I have a GS-T with similar mods, Greddy profec B spec II, dejon tools upper IC, Greddy bov, turbo back exhaust, injen intake, poly motor mounts, wheels, some suspension work, SAFC (wasn't installed before my dyno run), stock turbo, and my car dynoed at 210whp. You Evo guys dyno a few ponies more, but weigh a little more than a 2g eclipse, no? I think it'll be a close race...With a dynoflash tho, you should beat him pretty easily.
Tell your buddy to turn the boost down to 16psi. The T25 is inefficient at anything higher than that. He won't be pushing out any more power because the turbo is just spewing out hot air.
And you guys who are saying AWD would beat FWD here, uh...did you not read they are running from a roll?

^I understand, if the EVO in question was stock, then yes a very close race, but the EVO is not stock now is it and you have a few more mods than the GS-T in this thread.

^^^ i love gsts by the way and owned one. but 210whp+15 for safc tuned properly is a little less then stock for an evo. with the evo's mods and he has about 260-270whp. even if his evo weighs a little more, it won't make up for 40 whp. plus my gst still broke loose when that turbo would hit in first gear, even from a roll. i would say a few car lengths, maybe not 5-6 but 3-4.

AWD vs. FWD, who cares, if the above EVO puts down around 260WHP vs. possibly 200WHP Eclipse, are you telling me, that the Eclipse will make up a 60WHP because it has FWD .
