how much does it weight on RS model?
i noticed they dont have AC ?
and no power window.. no radio..no wing,... no carpet.....etc

You people really need to look into a little more. EVERY US EVO RS HAS AIR CONDITIONING AND CARPET. No it does not have a radio or speakers, which most people replace anyways. No power windows or locks, if this is a big deal...it's not very hard to install them.

It has air conditioning (stock), carpet (stock), stereo, 7 speakers, wing, and many many extras. 1/2 the fun is customizing a car to make it your own, and the RS makes it that much easier without losing any of the performance options. This isn't your normal RS, but it shows you that with a little work, anything is possible.

3100 with 2 gallons of gas and a full avic ni navigation system and pioneer 3 way speakers. Oh no spare in it also and a magnaflow Ti muffler. All I think I want is some aftermarket HIDs and ABS.

At the NYC auto show the guy was like you can get the exciting RS with no AC! Ha exciting with no AC Only if it was a true race car, Iguess there would be no inreior so its pointless anyway

Only down side of RS is pwr door lock and windows. otehrwise, It is almost the same as regular evo... just little lighter... about 60lbs.

I like RS because you can make it really light. my car is currently about 160 lbs lighter than regular evo. you can feel the grip and break improving with light body. It gets really nimble. oh, also, I had to put the pwr door lock for driver side. It was really not cool when I had to stick in the key in to open my car every time. manual windows don't give me any trouble.

 

A few of the first batch of 04 RS's came without ACs, it was sold as an additional package called the "Urban Jungle Package", all of the RSs after that came with ACs as journalist's and people complained about the lack of ACs ...
