I just came from Puerto Rico and in aprox one week I saw 7 EVOS
July 4th 2 EVOS (Electric Blue and Silver) Aprox. 4:00PM between Aguadilla and Camuy
Black Evo Close to Plaza Las Americas
Black EVO Ponce
Red EVO Caguas
Silver Levittown
White Buchanan

Theres quite a few fast Evo's in PR most of them in Ponce. I know theres one running 10's that was tuned by a local guy(Rolo) here in Orlando from Centralfloridaturbo.com

 

That is kool. I am from P.R. and I was happy seen that many EVOS in a short time and Taking in consideration that P.R. it is a small Island.
I live here in Oklahoma and some times I feel lonely because I think I have the only EVO arround. I have been in Muskogee and no EVOs there. But I saw one once in Tulsa. But that is aprox. 65 miles from home

 

Im from PR also but ive been living here in Orlando,Fl for like 10+ and saw a few Evos last time i went there. Theres plenty of Evos here in Orlando too.

 

yeah, many EVOs, STIs and SRT-4s here! I could be the one you saw in Caguas, but there are many. When Al Friedman came to Puerto Rico there were over 20 EVOs in a few days on the dyno and many others just hanging out.

You will be surprised how many you see on the streets. Most of us are very close and we all post in our local forum, www.carrito.net/forums

Many quick EVOs here including a 612whp with a Ultimate Racing Turbo Kit, and believe it or not many of the old 2 doors Mirage 1.8, with turbo kits doing everything from low 11 seconds to 12 seconds on the quarter mile and some of them running low 13s "all motor" with no turbo or nos.

So many fast Mitsubishis, as Al said, in Puerto Rico cars is a serious and big business. Next time let us know when you are coming so you can be present in one of our local meetings, many Mitsus, Subarus, Supras and others fast cars!
