Ever get that "perfect" feeling?
For political correctness events here in took place on a closed course that is an exact copy of my drive home.
The other day it was lightly misting out just enough to turn the color of the asphalt a bit darker. Coming up a hill through these S's by a church on my way home I was driving rather spiritedly. As I was about to crest the hill I came to even throttle (not accelerating or slowing down). I knew the back end was going to step out a little and was prepared for it. It was a righthand turn and I had the right front tire rite on the white line and the left rear corner of the bumper rite on the yellow line. Started to feed in the gas and held the drift up the rest of the hill and out of the corner. Once off the corner everything pretty much sorted itself out. I felt like I didn't have work to straighten it out. It all just flowed. It was awesome, I love this car!

i love that feeling. I accidentally did something similar when i first got the car and I was shocked at first but then relieved when It fixed it self. The a$$ knows where it is supposed to be.

There is definately something in the Evo's suspension set up that instills confidence. The car just makes it easy to drive at ten tenths. You know were it's limits are and you know if you go over them just a little it's not going to bite you, provided you don't do something really stupid.
I wish I had video of what I was talking about above so I could see it from the outside. It was just one of those " I couldn't do that better again if I tried " things. It made my day.

yeah the first few times a took somewhat fast it the evo would correct itself if it brooke loose ever so slightly. then i started taking them fast and got pretty close to the curb a few times and lost a good grasp of the wheel, i even hit the brake once. lol. now it is easy and so much fun. love making people grab the oh **** handle and come out with sweaty feet and hands and white knuckles.
Yeah I remember this feeling, but that feeling has been gone since I lost my Advans
