where do you get your replacement filters for the HKS RS kit?

and whats the difference between the colors?

mine came with the yellow filter..should i stick with that?

if you have a local razo store you can buy them there too, like $12 though.

 

all i know is yellow = racing suction
green = super mega flow

 

color doesn't matter btw, you need the proper size though for the RS intake.

 

there is no difference in colors. (you can't see mine anyways because they're covered by a custom air box) I just picked up three from a local speed shop in Irvine CA. Just remember don't pay more than 25 bucks each for them. I think i just got mine for 20 each. try myevostore.com or the other popular websites like lancershop.com i'm sure they have 'em in stock.

PM GNV Motorsports - that's where I found the best price on them, they offered me 3-4 different colors too.

 

I used to get them for 11 bucks per SHIPPED back in 2003. Now HKS raised their prices due to popular demand and if u pay more than $20 per, it's expensive. It's abour $20-21 per filter shipped if u buy 5. PM Logic Performance aka TalonRnR

 

i bought it off lancershop.com .. came to liek 31 after shipping -- which was gonna be the same as the other store.. sigh.....

 

I just bought mine off lancershop, I wahed my old one so i'm just going to switch off with these two filters now.

 

Lancershop seems to have pretty fair prices.

Ok new question:

I got that filter from Lancershop- but all it is, is a large flat circular disk... not in a "bowl" shape like the shape of my HKS RS intake.... am i supposed to bend it to fit? or did they send me the wrong one??

 

Yes, it should look like a frisbee.

 

OK guys. The 150 is for the mega, and the 200 is for the RS. Color doesnt matter. You ahve to bend it to fit. YOu unscrew the button in the middle. Make sure the side with the largest holes are pointing out.
