I'm having trouble deciding whether to take my 05 EVO to the track, or to go camping with my other buddies... its a tough choice.

My EVO has a 3" TBE and a EBC... If I do go I hope to run mid to high 12's on a good launch...

 

I'll be there eventhough I'm bone stock. Who cares stock for stock STi's don't stand a chance against an EVO. This will be my first time racing on a drag strip.....wish me luck folks.

This has been mentioned many, many, many times in this thread anyhow, I'll mention it again, it will be held at Raceway Park in Englishtown, NJ.

 

Why not camp out at the track the night before the event just kiddin', I don't know you and your friends schedule so I don't know how often you guys will get a chance to go camping, but this event is only held once a year in New Jersey and who knows if it will ever be held again, so it's up to you. If this thing is a blow out again, maybe the EVOs should challenge somebody else, like those pesky SRT-4s, although, check my sig, probably be another blow out, maybe even uglier.

 

I would love to see more events like this, how about EVOs vs. 350Zs, now that would be ugly.

fastest way to get there:

Turnpike to Exit 9 (Route 18S-towards E. Brunswick/South River) - stay on Route 18 for 15/20 min depending on traffic. -(pass whole bunch of stores/gas stations/mall) - take Route 9 exit towards Freehold. (it'll appear like your in the middle of nowhere by now) - Stay on route 9 for about 5 minutes and take the Texas Road exit(make right at yield sign). Make 2nd left at the light and go straight for a while. (Texas Road is only a one lane road so there will be lots of traffic on this road. the 2nd light where you turn, is a busy intersection and mad people will be there trying to get to raceway in all directions...be careful) - after making left, con't till you see sign for raceway park. (you'll see a big billboard thing and you will stay to the left)

 

No Buschur?? No AMS? What is the story there? These teams would be the icing on the cake for a huge subaru defeat.

evo vs wrx participants must run DOT approved threaded tires. ie BFG Drag Radials, Nitto 555, Falken Azenis, Toyo RA1.... EVO vs Wrx Car Show open to all evo and wrx attending the event but not racing or auto xing

i'm meeting up with Lament and some other ppl on rt73 at Bob Evans near turnpike around 8:45am. r u one of those ppl? if not, that's where we'll be leaving from.

mitsugirl420, u'r gonna get these outta towners lost! easiest to get to englishtown is:
exit 9 to rt18 south, go for 6miles then
take rt527 south for 5 miles
u'll see the sign on the left for Raceway Park at a fork in the road
turn left at the fork on to pension road. in less than a mile u'll see entrance to the track. (straight from etown website)
