Brake Light came on

Hi Guys,
I was coming to work this morninig and after getting down the Drivway of my aprtments and about 1/4 mile down the road, I noticed that my brak light came on.....I verified that the E-brake was completly down, but the light would not go away. I shut the car off and back on again an no more light. Has anyone seen this before? I am totally worried now.

Check your brake fluid. As your pads wear it take more fluid to press them against the rotors. Top it off and you should be fine.

I suspect your brake pads are quite thin and the brake fluid is low in the brake resevoir
replace your pads and you will be fine.....
^^DO NOT top off the resevoir ^^ because when pads are replaced you will spill fluid all the way down the firewall........not good for the paint

opps forgot that part. Check make sure you still have some brake pad left, if you do then top it off. If not replace your pads and check your fluid.
