why did you swerve, if you were going fast, and you were going fast to launch, and skid out of control like that.. even at freeway speeds this could happen, but why swerve.. nothing against you but i see this every day, i just dont want to be killed buy someone not having car control.. i guess i dont understand why people have these driving habits.. im not bashing you, just wondering..

Definitely sucks. I would have tried to avoid it too based on my surroundings. At least you have a chance of not getting any/less damage. Who knows...you could of hit the tire and lost control in an even worse way.

the thing is that it wasnt just a tire it was a full tire and rim not just shards i really dont know what happened i was trying to go around as if i were trying to miss a pothole and the rear got away from me i tried to correct it and i tapped the gas trying to pull my self out of the skid and i hit the curb and flew into a bush , i wasnt going any faster than 50 it was an unavoidable accident. these were pretty much my choices do what happened above, let my car spin out and slam into the concrete siderail or tried to get the car to stop and have the possibility of getting t-boned i am glad that i slammed in to the curve causing me to go off road for others sake it was just a normak day for me on my way to work

sorry to hear that.. im just wondering though. I hear tons of accident storys on highways like this. Why not drive away from anyone else and leave enough room in front of you and to the side to make corrections like this before your right on top of the wheel. you didnt see it or something?

What do you have your tire pressures at? I've seen a few accidents where people lose control and one of the contributing factors is tire pressure that is too high...

it wasnt on a freeway it was actually getting off of one so not too much room...it was more the lack of room to do much of anything
