Need EGT Advice, Gauge Malfunctioning

So I installed a Greddy EGT gauge a couple days ago, and it is not working properly at all. First of all, when the car is just on, the needle sits all the way to the right, past 12000 C. The only time the needle will move is when the headlights are turned on (Accessory), then it will go move to the bottom of the gauge where the 3 is and randomly jump all over the place at different RPMS. It is very sporatic at that point.

I also have a Greddy boost gauge that works fine, and I've used the plug from that gauge that powers the gauge in the EGT gauge in order to see if it was a bad ground or something, but it does the same thing no matter what wire set I use.

Any ideas?

Check and recheck all your electrical connections and also check what you are using as your power source ...

try taking your probe out to see if it's still there and not broken. then re-insert your wires that goes into the egt gauge, reset your ecu.
