i almost lost alot of my front bumper last night

i got home and work people were parked in the driveway to where i couldnt go park in the garage and so there was a truck in front of me.

when it was time to go they had to back out so i hopped in my car and go to back out and get to the tip of my drive way and stop because of oncoming cars.

next thing i see is the truck reversing at me at near full speed D:

i honked like hell and got out.

i **** you not his bumper was less than 4-5 inches from my front bumper.

he was like OMG i thought you got out and the traffic that passed by was you.

i was so freaked out.

when i traded in my 3g eclipse for an evo it wouldnt start unless you shook it b/c my starter was bad. there was a major oil leak that was "fixed" by mitsu and others about six times, but was still leaking. my stereo didnt work for some reason or the other, etc, etc., etc. but mitsu didnt even get in my car or start it when they appriased it. they walked around it and took it. i signed those papers so fast and drove off the lot even faster. finally got back at mitsu a little. score one for us. correction: score 2.

Thought that Carmax would ship any of their vehicles from any dealership any the country to you for free... at least, isn't that what the commercial says?

There was a morning radio thing about a woman who was putting on her pantyhose while she was driving.

her legs were upon the dash and everything.

i can't imagine how she could do that. a trucker spotted and called in.

*sigh*

People, go read your insurance policies. Your collision deductible only comes into play when you get into an accident which is your fault, and you are getting your own car fixed. She would have had ZERO deductible to get your car fixed in your situation. The claims adjuster would have filed the claim under her Property Damage Liability portion of her insurance policy, and they would have fixed your car back to exactly the way it was, and even given you a rental car if your car had to go into the shop for more than a few hours to do it.

Unless you live in one of those f-ed up No-Fault states that is. My suggestion then would be to pack up and move immediately.

they use to do that but now it all depends on how far they have to ship it. 150 was from one state away, i saw shpping payments up to 450 for 2 to 3 states i donno how they come up with that number, but when you buy the car they put that money toward your down payment but if you dont buy it...u just eat it sucks so my advise would be make sure you can get the car before you pay out. unless you have hundreds of dollars to throw around and if you do i need a full turbo back exhaust lol

thanks and i didnt know that about the insurance thing. i thought that she would of had to pay to get it fixed. either way the car was comming the next day and carmax would only hold the car that YOU payed for only 48 hours and then they would put a price tag on it and try to sell it. messed up huh... so it needed to be fixed qiuck anyways. but thanks for letting me know hopefully not for future refrence. lol
