amber part for blacking out headlights

guys, i plan on getting my headlights and taillights blacked out from my friend... i plan on getting the jdm style lights, where on the headlights the amber part is on the bottom, and on the tails, where theres an amber part too.. i just came from autozone and asked the rep about it, and he showed me this set of strips (like 4" x 10") i think, which comes with 2 red strips, 1 white strip, and 1 amber, the set was like $7, but not even that one amber strip is enough for a single light. there was then the tape roll, which is fairly long, more than enough, but the material i think is different from the kind of strip i am looking for... anyone that knows where to get that piece, let me know.

chris

I actually prefer the amber to remain the USDM way.. Looks betyter to me when you black them out.. I love my blacked out headlights that way... The amber strip is smaller on the US cars, maybe thats why I like it better...

for the headlights, it may look better on some specific colors... mine is a graphite grey, i like the amber on the bottom better... since also ill be doing the taillights also, it definitely looks way better with the amber part on the bottom..

I don't know how EvoDave does it, but it looks real good.

No lines on the amber part, and it's not the plastic kind, i think it's just a tape but I could be wrong.
