hey guyz, i need some advice. i planning to get an alarm soon. and the alarm has a built in tt. but i already have the hks type 0 tt. should i keep the hks tt or save money and use the alarm tt? can anyone tell me the advantages and disadvantages? thanx

 

not sure about this but this is what I have heard... if you keep the seperate TT then you will not be able to turn the alarm on till after the car has shut off, this is a disadvantage to me because sometimes you'll walk inside or to far away before your car shuts off and your alarm wont go on. My friend has the Viper alarm with a TT (cant remember which) and his is set to turn on the alarm right when the car shuts off. The disadvantage of this is that it does not lock the doors, it just turns on the alarm so he keeps the stock remote lock to remote lock his car. Once again I do not know if there are different setups to do the ideal: TT shuts off car, autolocks, and turns on alarm, he may just have his not installed that way. Just trying to offer some input.
