Safer evo please
If you want it to last, you have to drive it hard. Drive lie a granny and the EVO will break. Ok! Enough kidding. The evo is a very reliable car, it's made and well-put-together in Japan (not like other Mitsu). I'm owning 2 and know it. The only thing that you will be replaced assuming that you drive it regularly is the clutch. If you're not modding the car then the clutch will last longer, but if you're pushing the power up then the clutch may go early than expected. Also, if you reflashed or fine-tune the air-fuel ratio then you will get better gas mileage since the car is run very rich (safety margin) from factory.
And to the "BlueBlurSTi" guy (or gal what ever)! Any car falling into your hand will broke since you know sh*t about it based on your statement. I'm not sure you even owned an EVO based on your vague about "things falling apart" and "03 had so many problems". I'm glad you got the STi instead.

Damm! I hate this kind of vague statement.
